Participant Requirements
Navitat’s canopy tour is designed for participants in good health. Due to the nature of the tour, we reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone.
To participate, you must meet the following requirements:
(1) You must be at least 10 years old AND weigh between 90 and 250 pounds. Due to the nature of this activity, all participants are discretely weighed prior to the tour to ensure this requirement is met.
(2) You must sign a Participant Agreement Form prior to participation.
(3) For youth under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign the Participant Agreement Form and proper supervision requirements must be met. See info below.
(4) You must be in good health and prepared to participate in an active tour.
(5) You must be able to walk one mile.
(6) You must have the strength to pull yourself along the cable and slow yourself using a glove to create friction on the cable.
You cannot participate in the canopy tour if you:
- Are pregnant.
- Have recent, reoccurring, or existing injuries.
- Have serious musculoskeletal disorders.
- Have epilepsy or seizure disorders that do not permit you to drive.
- Have hemophilia or are currently taking any blood thinning medications.
- Are under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs or legal drugs that impair you in any way.
- Suffer from a health condition that may require immediate medical attention.

Youth (anyone under the age of 18 who also meets all of our physical requirements outlined above) may participate in our tours with proper parental permission and supervision.
Documentation as outlined below is required. It is the responsibility of the parent and/or adult supervisor to ensure that youth participants bring along all required forms at check-in.

1) ALL participants under the age of 18 must have a Participant Agreement Form completed by their parent or legal guardian prior to participating in the Canopy Tour.
2) Additionally, guests under the age of 14 MUST be actively accompanied on the tour by their parent/legal guardian OR another adult designated as their supervisor.
* To designate another adult (18 years of age or older) as the supervisor of your child, please complete the Supervised Minor Form AND the Participant Agreement Form, and have your child bring these documents with him/her on the day of their tour.
