REASON 1.  THERE’S MORE OF A CHANCE TO SEE WILDLIFE! The Navitat course is quieter on weekdays without the whooping, woo-hooing, weekend crowds (who can blame them? it is exhilarating) and you have a much better chance of seeing the wild life who may run for the hills with more people around .. (Wait, Did I say hills? These are definitely not hills – they are HUGE mountains- and you will be zipping from ridge to ridge.)

REASON 2. IT’S POSSIBLE THAT YOU’LL WIND UP WITH A SMALLER TOUR GROUP! We can never guarantee it, but often the weekday tour groups aren’t full so you may get an even more personalized experience with a smaller tour group! So, you Los Angeles dwellers looking to escape the crowds of the city, (and the heat) look no further than a weekday canopy tour at Navitat.

REASON 3. THERE MAY BE LESS PEOPLE TO LAUGH AT YOUR FUNNY FACE WHILE LEAPING OFF THE LAST PLATFORM ON THE NEW TRUBLUE RAPPEL! Another NEWBIE this season is the free fall rappel option off the last tree platform. (yes, I said OPTION. You can choose to stick with the same method  you’ve already mastered on the prior two rappels) This optional way down is sure to bring out your “I’m just gonna make this expression with my face so the others won’t see my nervousness.”  Hey, whatever works.

REASON 4. MORE TIME TO EAT and EXPLORE WRIGHTWOOD! The check-in and check-out time during the week is quicker and less crowded.  Our weekends are almost always sold out, so you are more likely to have to wait in line for those must-have Navitat shades or tee-shirts.  During the week, you are in and out in a flash and can spend that extra time enjoying the cuisines of Wrightwood. (okay, so there are only 5 restaurants in Wrightwood, but they’re unique and GOOD!)
